RSI and Sedation Management for the COVID-19 Patient
Many critically ill patients with COVID-19 require intubation and mechanical ventilation. This session will present challenges that healthcare workers face during the intubation of the patient with COVID-19 as well as a review of rapid sequence intubation. Techniques for protecting yourself during intubation will be presented. The session will also provide an overview of techniques for providing appropriate sedation during ventilation and prone positioning.
