Proning: It’s Not Just for the ICU

Current treatment protocols for patients with COVID-19 includes aggressive use of prone positioning. Although this treatment modality has been in existence for many years now, it has been used sparingly in the past and many practitioners are unfamiliar with its purpose and how to carry it out. This presentation will provide insight into why the treatment works and how it can be incorporated into your own practice. We will also delve into the use of prone positioning as a home treatment for patients with mild cases of COVID-19.
